A wonderful way to spend a wet Monday evening in the intimate surroundings of Hoxton Hall.

First up was Nani. From Austria but with a soft Scottish accent. " I'm playing new songs tonight;  "my earlier  songs are pretty much pop.  As an artist I want to be more genuine - I think this is as genuine as I can be right now". A confident performer and had us holding hands with one another in contemplative meditation.

Catbandcat : Five on stage: keys, violin, acoustic guitar, accordion & bass guitar. A stubborn resistance to confirm to any specific genre; this band delivers a hard off-the-wall punch

An emotive set from Jacob Alon. Joined by a five-strong  band (including Nani) which led to Jacob becoming overwhelmed by the occasion at times. After taking a mid-set break to regain his composure he returned to perform 3-4 tunes solo including the excellent 'Fairy In A Bottle'.  Throughout the set, the wonderful guitar craft and soaring vocals made this one to remember.
