Bromide - I Remember via Scratchy Records

News

A limited edition cassette & download has been released by three-piece London-based band Bromide.

The single's title track, which has a good solid base of guitars and Lemonheads style rhythm is taken from the new album, produced by Brian O’Shaughnessy (of Primal Scream, MBV production fame).

There are two unreleased tracks on the single, – Lovely New York, an acoustic cover of a song by the late Tarka Cordell - former school band mate of Bromide singer Simon Berridge, and Treasure Map, the demo version of a track from previous Bromide album Some Electric Sometime.

Film maker Phil Hayes has made a video for the single from a collage of found cine footage. (the Seventies look so far away now!)

An Introduction to Christina Martin

News

A Canadian artist, with a  powerful and measured vocal, Christina Martin, has a new single, ‘Take Me Back In A Dream,’ out on 4th September.

Taken from her album ‘It'll Be Alright,’ the new single is accompanied by a new video, made by Canadian production house Shut Up & Colour Productions and directed by Jason Levangie.

You can watch the video HERE

‘One of my favorite moments in recording this song was when I finished tracking the main vocals,’ says Christina. ‘Suddenly I found space to include a chant that has got me through tough times. The Hindu mantra is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles.’

An early 2016 UK & European tour is being confirmed, with dates to be announced.
