It was decided by "popular vote" according to an interview I heard on R4 the other morning.

I cant recall being asked for my opinion (although I quite like that Muse cover tbh)

I don't think it's anything special. IMHO the award should have gone to one of the lavish box sets produced last year e.g Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
