We think SXSW Music is just about the most amazing event for any music lover on the planet. Just imagine the coolest city in the world being converted into a giant music festival for 4 days and nights.

Try standing on 6th avenue at 1am in the morning wondering which of 50 bands you are going to catch for the remainder of the night (having been watching bands since 10am that morning!), then you start to get a flavour of SXSW.

Every night sees hundreds of bands playing all over the city with free and industry showcases, parties, conferences, keynotes and exhibitions running throughout the day.

We try to make it over as often as we can from the UK  - 2004, 2006 & 2008 so far. Sadly we won't make it this year but, will be back for the 25th Anniversary of the event in March 2011. Our dear friends from Toronto Jim & Sandra will fly the Rock Club flag in Austin this year and we will post their updates from Austin as well.
